Cafe Mozart's new owner and chef, Johann Loschl has been looking for a restaurant to call his own for over 10 years. He is happy to have found the perfect location in San Juan Capistrano. Joining him in this new venture, is his wife, Carla, a pastry chef who will be lending her exceptional talents to the restaurant's menu.

Having trained and worked in Europe, Canada and the United States, Johann is ready to use his experience in maintaining the high quality of dining experience one has been accustomed to at the Cafe Mozart since it's opening in 1977.

Mr. Loschl's experience includes the position of Executive Chef of Umberto's Al Port. This popular Italian restaurant in Vancouver, BC was named "The Best Restaurant in Vancouver" under his guidance.

In 1987, Johann functioned as the Fine Dining Room Chef for the Westin Maui. He was instrumental in developing this start up Hotel/Restaurant into five-star recognition.

Locally, he has served as the Executive Chef at The Cellar and the Arbor Manor in Fullerton, and Le Biarritz in Newport Beach.

Now, Johann shares his experience as a fine Chef and Restaurateur. His expertise and talent will be the tools for the success of your dinner parties, family events and holiday dinners.
